Our sports management team constitutes of a team of developers, account managers and project managers with experience in participating in competitive athletics at high levels as well as a strong development background with knowledge of each sports business logic and rules. Computan’s sports team works to coordinate the following areas for sports organizations:
Registrations
Competitors and stakeholders in an organization will input themselves into the organization’s database. This is done through a simple registration process on the existing website.
Database development
Sports organizations will collect registration data for competitions as well as for membership and formulate a database of records. This database can be used to extrapolate key data on participants in that specific sport for Government funding, strategic planning and the measurement of other key revenue and participative benchmarks.
Competitions
Be it tennis tournaments, squash matches or soccer games. Computan will devise a fully web-based and usable model for competitor managers to input results of competitors based on the database. Event managers will be given access to manage events, scheduling, team building, bracket/draw making based on an existing ranking and have this all integrated with their contact database.
Ranking
A ranking will be calculated based on the results of the entered competitions. This ranking will be the exact logic of the organization. Our sports development team programs and computerizes the organization’s ranking system and then tests its integration with results entry module. Moreover, the organization is fully capable of tabulating rankings whenever they please.
Communication and website integration
Computan’s sports team works with website vendors for each sports organization to ensure that statistics and data generated by the system seamlessly integrates with the sports organization’s overall communication strategy. Furthermore, our system provides the sports organization with abilities to broadcast notices and press releases to various stakeholders, create reports of any kind and provide full manipulation of data through many major applications.
